架空のラジオ番組のインタビューという設定で東大教授がオリジナルで創作した内容だと思われます。
ただ、放送中で登場するLamkin博士については、氏名のスペルは異なるものの蝶の研究で著名なLambkin博士は実在しているようですので、放送内容の元ネタが実際にあるのかもしれません。ご参考までLambkin博士のインタビュー記事のリンクをご案内いたします。
